FOUND YOURSELF IN A RUT AT WORK THAT YOU JUST CAN’T ESCAPE FROM?
OPPORTUNITYS PASS YOU BY AND IT SEEMS THAT EVERYONE ELSE IS MOVING FORWARD?
FEEL THE NEED TO BUILD UP OR GAIN NEW SKILLS IN THE WORKPLACE BUT DON’T KNOW WHOM TO ASK?

YOUR UNION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH YOUR EMPLOYER COULD JUST HAVE THE ANSWER YOU’RE LOOKING FOR!

WELCOME TO THE UNION LEARNING FUND PROJECT
THE GATEWAY TO A BRIGHT NEW FUTURE!

In today’s constantly changing environment where everyday seems to move quicker than yesterday, it’s easy to feel lost and out of touch. Straightforward things such as writing letters, dealing with paper work, helping the kids with their homework and understanding your own financial affairs to using computers at work and at home can sometimes seem insurmountable.
Well look no further because help is at hand. The FBU and your employers have entered into a partnership to find solutions to these and many other problems we all face at work and at home.

The UNION LEARNING FUND PROJECT has been set up to provide you with opportunities to start or even get back into Learning. Through a regional network of workplace learning reps you will be able to get confidential advice, help and guidance to support and encourage your journey back into Learning. Whether you have basic skills needs, perhaps you want to learn a language or want to know how to use a computer properly or indeed anything that you might feel that will help you progress through both your job and life the UNION LEARNING FUND PROJECT will be able to help locate the right course for you, and in the majority of cases will even be able to help with the cost.

INTERESTED?

Well we need your help if this project is going to be a success. We are looking for volunteers to become Work Place Learning Reps. Don’t worry if that sounds daunting though, as you will receive full-accredited training and, back up from you’re your regional co coordinator. You will also be entitled to by law the following:
Paid time off for training.
